The Management of the University of Benin, UNIBEN has released the approved academic calendar for the first and second semester academic activities for the 2021/2022 and 2022/2023 academic session.

On Thursday, March 16th, 2023, the Senate of the University of Benin held a Special Meeting and approved changes to the Academic Calendars for the 2021/2022 and 2022/2023 academic sessions.

| Monday 8th to Friday 12th May, 2023 | First Semester Examinations begin in Faculties of Education, Engineering, Life Sciences, Pharmacy and Physical Sciences |

| Monday 15th May, 2023 | First Semester Examinations begin in all other Faculties/Schools/Institutes |
