Eligibility
- Candidates who wrote the 2021 JAMB UTME conducted by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and Direct Entry (DE).
- Candidates who made the Michael and Cecilia Ibru University their FIRST CHOICE Institution are eligible for the screening.
- All other interested candidates who did not choose Michael and Cecilia Ibru University (MCIU) as their First and Second Choices are equally eligible to come for the MCIU POST-UTME Screening at MCIU.
General Admission Requirements
- Applications are invited from suitable qualified candidates who sat for 2019 JAMB, Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
- Students with O’Level Certificate, A-level, Diploma and any other relevant certificate are qualified to apply.
- Each candidate must possess at least five (5) O’Level Credit Passes including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two (2) sittings in their proposed relevant subject courses
Specific Admission Requirements
A. Faculty of Management and Social Sciences
1. Accounting
UTME: Five Credits at SSCE/NECO in English Language, Mathematics, Economics, plus any other Social Science subjects.
DIRECT ENTRY: At least two credits at the GCE A/L, HSC one of which must be Accounting and Economics or Business Management including OND (passed with minimum average of upper credit) in relevant courses from a recognized state or Federal Polytechnic or College of Education/ Technology.
REMARKS: UME subjects are Economics,English,Mathematics and any other subject.
2. Banking and Finance
UTME: Five Credits at SSCE/NECO in English Language, Mathematics, Economics, plus any other Social Science subjects.
DIRECT ENTRY: At least two subject at the GCE A/L, HSC one of which must be Accounting and Economics or Business Management including ordinary National Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration or Economics (passed with minimum average of upper credit) from a recognized state or Federal Polytechnic or College of Education/ Technology.
REMARKS: UME subjects are Economics,English,Mathematics and any other subject.
3. Business Administration
UTME: Five Credits at SSCE/NECO in English Language, Mathematics, Economics, plus any other Social Science subjects.
DIRECT ENTRY: At least two subject at the GCE A/L, HSC one of which must be Accounting and Economics or Business Management including ordinary National Diploma in Business Administration,Economics or Accounting (passed with minimum average of upper credit) from a recognized state or Federal Polytechnic or College of Education/ Technology.

4. Biochemistry
UTME: Five Credits at SSCE/NECO in English Language, Mathematics, Biology,chemistry and any other science subjects.
DIRECT ENTRY: At least two subject at the GCE A/L, HSC one of which must be Biology and Chemistry including ordinary National Diploma in Biology/Zoology (passed with minimum average of upper credit) from a recognized state or Federal Polytechnic or College of Education/ Technology.
REMARKS: UME subjects are English Language, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
5. Biology
UTME: Five Credits at SSCE/NECO in English Language, Mathematics, Biology,chemistry and any other science subjects.
DIRECT ENTRY: At least two subject at the GCE A/L, HSC one of which must be Biology and Chemistry including ordinary National Diploma in Biology/Zoology (passed with minimum average of upper credit) from a recognized state or Federal Polytechnic or College of Education/ Technology.
REMARKS: UME subjects are English Language, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
6. Computer Science
UTME: Five Credits at SSCE/NECO in English Language, Mathematics, Physics,chemistry and any other science subjects.
DIRECT ENTRY: At least two subject at the GCE A/L, HSC one of which must be Mathematics and Physics including ordinary National Diploma in Computer Science(passed with minimum average of upper credit) from a recognized state or Federal Polytechnic or College of Education/ Technology.
REMARKS: UME subjects are English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics.
7. Industrial Physics
UTME: Five Credits at SSCE/NECO in English Language, Mathematics, Physics,Chemistry and any other science subjects.
DIRECT ENTRY: At least two subject at the GCE A/L, HSC one of which must be Mathematics and Physics including ordinary National Diploma in Physics (passed with minimum average of upper credit) from a recognized state or Federal Polytechnic or College of Education/ Technology.
REMARKS: UME subjects are English Language, Mathematics,Physics and Chemistry
8. Biotechnology
UTME: Five Credits at SSCE/NECO in English Language, Mathematics, Biology,Chemistry and any other science subjects.
