AFIT Resumption Date 2022/2023 || 1st Semester

This is to inform all the students and staff of the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) that the management of the institution has announced the resumption date for the commencement of first semester for 2022/2023 academic session.

All undergraduate students of Air Force Institute of Technology are to resume for registration of First Semester 2022/2023 Academic Session on Monday 23 January, 2023.

Lectures begin for both New and Returning Students on 30 January 2023.

AFIT Resumption Date for Commencement of Second (2nd) Semester 2022/2023

All undergraduate students of Air Force Institute of Technology are to resume classes from Monday 30th January 2023.

The mandatory 75% attendance that qualifies students to sit for exams will commence same day.

This is for general awareness and strict compliance.

ABOUT AFIT

The Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) also known as the Nigeria Air Force University is a military school approved by the National Universities Commission to run undergraduate and postgraduate courses in 2018/2019. It supports the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) and civilian communities by provision of basic training on Aeronautics, aerospace engineering mechatronics engineering and avionics. It is located in Kaduna state, Northern side of Nigeria.

Currently, AFIT comprises 5 faculties, each consisting of various departments. The faculties are: Air Engineering, Computing, Ground and Communication Engineering, Social and Management Sciences and Faculty of Sciences. There is also a School of Postgraduate Studies (SPS). All the basic course curricula are structured to meet the minimum requirements for MSc in the aerospace sector.
