
ABSU VC Commends New Miss Tourism
The Vice-Chancellor Distinguished Professor Onyemachi M. Ogbulu has commended the new Miss Tourism Abia on her pet project of using the opportunity of her reign to fight against rape and all manner of cultism in the society.
Speaking through the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (DVC) Administration Professor Ogbonna Onuoha when the new ambassador of tourism and her team paid him a courtesy visit, he pledged the support of the administration and encouraged her to pursue her dream with passion and not to give up no matter the obstacles that may come.
Earlier, the new Miss tourism Oueen Esther Daniel in her remarks congratulated the Vice-Chancellor on his remarkable achievements within the short period in office adding that they came to seek his support on her campaign “Say no to rape and cultism” which she is carrying out within the period of her reign.
High point of the visit was the presentation of a souvenir to the Vice-Chancellor Distinguished Professor Onyemachi M. Ogbulu in appreciation of his welfare oriented leadership for the staff and students if the University.
