ABSU Hostel Allocation Procedures & Guidelines 2021/2022

This is to inform all fresh students of Abia State University, Uturu that the scheduled date for the opening of hostel accommodation portal for the 2021/2022 academic session has Commenced.

Hostels are currently available for fresh and returning students for the 2021/2022 academic session.

NOTE: Hostel accommodation is strictly on a first-come-first-serve basis.

ABSU Hostel Accommodation Application Exercise Guidelines 2021/2022

This is to inform all Students who are interested in Hostel Accommodation for this Session to kindly follow the steps below:

Step One:

• Ensure you have paid your School fees for this 2021/2022 academic session.
• CLICK HERE
• You will be requested to enter your School Fee Confirmation Order Number in the box.
• Then Click on Submit.
• A green box would be shown below showing that you successfully requested for Hostel just like the picture below.
• 
• Wait for your request to be approved after 48 hours.
• After 48 hours, CLICK HERE  to check the Hostel Application Status
• If your request was successful, you will be presented with your hostel space allocation for printing..
• Click on “Print Slip” to print your allocation slip.
• Print out the invoice Slip in the portal

YOU MUST BE GIVEN HOSTEL ONLINE FIRST BEFORE YOU SHOULD PROCEED TO STUDENTS AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT

Step Two:

• Once you are assigned Hostel Online….
• Kindly print out that page…
• Then proceed to ABSU MicroFinance Bank (Inside School)…
• Fill a teller to make a payment of #6 200…
• It is for Hostel Clearance…
• After making the payment and the teller is stamped and signed…
• Then proceed to the Students Affairs Department to conclude with the Process…
• Once you are done, proceed with documents gotten from the Students Affairs Department to the Hostel you were assigned to…
• Meet the Hostel Porter and show the personnel those Documents (Also go with passport)…
• The Porter would give you what is called GREEN Card to show you are a legal Occupant of the Hostel….
• You would also be given a Bed….
• You are done….
