ABSU Acceptance Fee Payment Guidelines & Deadline 2022/2023

Following the release of ABSU Admission List, this is to inform all newly admitted students of the Abia State University that they can now proceed with the Payment of Acceptance Fee and Printing of their ABSU admission letter for the 2022/2023 academic session.

 

All Freshers are to make payment of a non-refundable fee of One Hundred and Forty Thousand naira N140,000 Naira + N100, 000(for Professional Courses) and Ninety Thousand Naira N90,000 (for Unprofessional Courses) as the acceptance fee for the Abia State University… 

NOTE: Professional Courses will now pay the Professional Fee of 100k with there Acceptance Fee…

This is a new development…

Unlike other years, when Professional Fee is usually pay alongside with School Fees…

 

The list of Candidates offered primary admission into regular undergraduate programmes of Abia State University, for the 2022/2023 academic session has been released online and notice boards at Aba, Umuahia and Uturu campus.

ABSU Acceptance Fee Payment Guidelines & Deadline 2022/2023

HOW TO CHECK ADMISSION LIST ON SCHOOL PORTAL
  1. CLICK HERE to check your Admission status on School Portal.
  2. Input your invoice number or JAMB Reg Number or Application Form Number (starts with ABSU/UND/2022/****)
  3. Click on LOG IN.
  4. Proceed to Print your ABSU Admission Letter.
  5. Generate invoice for Acceptance Fee Payment.
NOTE:
  • The payment of Acceptance Fee for those offered admission for 1st Batch for 2022/2023 academic session is ongoing [NO DEADLINE]..
  • The payment of Acceptance Fee for those offered admission for 2nd Batch for 2022/2023 academic session is ongoing [NO DEADLINE]..
  • The payment of Acceptance Fee for those offered admission for 3rd Batch for 2022/2023 academic session is ongoing [NO DEADLINE]..

PROCEDURES FOR GENERATION OF INVOICE AND PAYMENT OF ACCEPTANCE FEES

  1. CLICK HERE to check your admission status on School Portal
  2. Print your ABSU Admission Letter.
  3. Go to Step 1 which is generation of Acceptance Fee Invoice.
  4. Print out the invoice and proceed to bank.
  5. If you are going to Bank….
First print out the invoice page then proceed to the bank…
  • First Bank.
  • Zenith Bank.
  • Union Bank
  • EcoBank
  • UBA.
  • ABSU Micro-Finance Bank.
  1. Once you get to any of the banks above ask for where you can make payment through etranzant payment method and you would be shown.

Don’t send any money to anyone for payment of Acceptance Fee…

As ABSU won’t be held responsible for any misplaced Fees.

To all ABSU Newly Admitted…

Good Day…

Once you have access to ABSU Portal using your JAMB REGISTRATION NUMBER or INVOICE NUMBER or even APPLICATION FORM NUMBER…

You should print your ABSU Admission Letter at the cost of #300…(Coloured)
Don’t be deceived…

Then after printing your ABSU Admission Letter…

You can then generate an invoice for payment of your Acceptance Fee…

 

WHAT IS AN INVOICE:

An Invoice is a print out you take to Bank for any payment in ABSU…

So if you want to pay Acceptance Fee in ABSU, kindly print an Invoice for Acceptance Fee…

It is just beside the link for printing of ABSU Admission Letter…

But before printing the Invoice…

First of all print your ABSU Admission Letter…

Remember all these is for those of you who have being admitted via JAMB CAPS, School Notice Board and School Board…

You should have gotten the following documents:

1. JAMB Admission Letter…(2)
2. JAMB Original Result…
3. ABSU Admission Letter…
4. Acceptance Fee Invoice…

Please print your Acceptance Fee Invoice when you are ready to pay Acceptance Fee in the Bank…

LATEST UPDATE:

For Professional Courses, you will now pay your Professional Fee of 100k with your Acceptance Fee…

Acceptance Fee = 140k…
Professional Fee = 100k…

This is a new development…

Non-Professional Courses will be pay Acceptance Fee of 90k…

Professional Courses are Law, Medicine, Med Lab, Pharmacy, Nursing and Optometry…

The Courses not listed above will pay 90k…

Print the Acceptance Fee Invoice…

Then take that Acceptance Fee invoice to the bank…

You can pay from your location in any bank in your area like:

Or you can also pay in School at the ABSU Microfinance Bank…

After payment you would be given a printout which is called E-tranzact…

For those asking about that Acceptance-Of-Offer Slip…

You would collect that slip from Admin Block…
It can be collected whether before payment of Acceptance Fee or after Payment of Acceptance Fee…

You need the documents above to collect your Acceptance-of-Offer SLIP which shows you are now a legitimate ABSU Student…

NOTE: You don’t need those documents above to pay Acceptance Fee…

It is not for collection of Acceptance-Of-Slip…

Acceptance-Of-Slip can be collected later…
